OPTI’s shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the ticker symbol OPC.
top When was OPTI's initial public offering, and at what price?
OPTI became a publicly traded company on April 15, 2004. Our IPO was priced at $22 per share ($11 per share after the June 1, 2006 stock split).
top When is OPTI’s fiscal year end?
Our fiscal year is the same as the calendar year. Our quarters end on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.
top How many employees do you have?
As of April 30, 2009, we had 21 employees.
top How can I invest in OPTI?

top What is a transfer agent?
A transfer agent is a regulated organization that keeps track of stockholder records and information. They are investors’ main contact for address changes, questions regarding stock certificates, including the replacement of lost certificates, and the removal of legends.

When is the OPTI Annual Stockholders' Meeting?

The 2010 annual meeting will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010. 

top Have you had any stock splits?
On February 16, 2006, OPTI Canada announced that its Board of Directors had recommended a two-for-one share split of its common shares.  Shareholder approval of the share split was obtained at OPTI’s annual and special shareholder meeting on April 27, 2006.
top Does OPTI have a direct purchase plan?
No, we do not. Shares of OPTI common stock can be purchased through a broker or stock purchase service of your choice.
top Does OPTI pay a cash dividend?
OPTI has not paid any dividends on the Common Shares or any other class or series of shares to date. The payment of dividends in the future will be dependent upon the earnings and financial position of OPTI and on such other factors as the Board of Directors of OPTI considers appropriate.
top Do you have a DRIP (Dividend Reinvestment Plan)?
OPTI does not currently pay a dividend and therefore does not have such a program.
